Call for Presentations and Posters

The Planning and Local Arrangement Committees are inviting presenters to submit a presentation title and abstract for a talk or poster or an idea for a presentation session. The Planning Committee has identified several sessions that are listed below with respective moderators. We encourage you to reach out with your presentation title and an abstract (if available).

The Planning Committee specifically welcomes graduate student presentations and posters. These sessions always hold considerable interest and attendance among WFIWC members. It is an opportunity for professionals to stay well-informed of the more novel work in western forest entomology. And it is an excellent chance for graduate students to present their preliminary and final work in a supportive conference setting.

If you are uncertain where your presentation may fit or want to submit an idea for a separate session, please reach out to John Formby.

Please respond with a presentation title and abstract (if available) no later than February 16, 2024.

See you in Missoula!

The 2024 WFIWC will convene with a welcome mixer at 5pm on Monday, April 22, with the opening session starting at 8am on Tuesday, April 23.

The meeting will conclude at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 25.
