Scholars, Scientists, Students
Founded in 1949, the Western Forest Insect Work Conference meets annually to provide members with opportunities to exchange information and explore new ideas regarding forest entomology and related fields.
Our Purpose:
to advance the science and practice of forest entomology
to provide a medium for exchange of professional thought
to serve as a clearinghouse for technical information on forest insect problems of the western North America
Membership has grown and diversified over WFIWC history. WFIWC is a non-profit organization with a Constitution, and several active committees.
Membership is open to anyone interested in forest entomology.
